Honey Roasted Root Vegetables

Every time a make a recipe (baked goods excluded), I change something about it when I make it for our family.  In this case, I substituted regular old honey (you know, the kind that comes in the bear bottle) for tupolo honey.  I made it right by listening to listening to Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison while I was making the dish.

Overall, I thought this was pretty tasty.  One of the root vegetables - either turnips or parsnips - were kind of bitter.  So, next time, I'd leave that one out.  Assuming I could figure out which one brought in the bitterness.  Sounds like a topic for therapy.
