Spicy Coconut Sauce

The sauce that we used to top off the Tiger Head Meatballs had delicious flavor, adding a lot to the already tasty meatballs.  The sauce as written is a bit spicy, too much for Martin and Sophie.  If I were going to make this again for all of us to consume, I'd reduce or omit the crushed red pepper to make it palatable for the kids.

But as is - it has light flavors that remind me those found in some Thai dishes.  I think it would be excellent served with chicken or shrimp, served over pasta or rice.  I'll definitely make it again, and it will be okay with me if no one else eats it.  Because really, this is one sauce I'd rather keep all for myself.
