Chive Green Beans

We're going to have a lot of side dishes for our Thanksgiving meal - stuffing (but not stuffed, so technically I suppose its DRESSING), garlic mashed potatoes, carrots, gelatin-cranberries, gelled cranberries, some sort of wild rice thing, bread, and of course gravy (if gravy counts as a side, which if you use as much as Marty will it's almost like having an extra course).  It all sounds wonderful, and I could make an entire meal out of just the stuffing.  But when I think about all that heavy food, I sort of feel like we ought to have something green and healthy on the table.  I'm not yet sure if I'm willing to add one more thing to the list of items that we'll be making, but if I do, this is the dish that we'll serve up.

These green beans are delicious, light, and good whether using fresh or frozen green beans.  I'd highly recommend it for Thanksgiving or any time you need a quick and healthy side.
