Mock Shamrock Shake
Knowing my love of the Shamrock Shake, my friend Molly sent me a link this week to a copycat recipe that included non-dairy ingredients. I ran right out and bought some mint extract and we started filling the blender. I thought it was delicious, although maybe not quite as good as the real thing. However, it is a close substitute. The only drawback is that Sophie finds mint to be spicy, even the lightly mintyness of the Shamrock Shake.
Still, if you're a person who craves the Shamrock Shake but cannot eat the dairy version found at McDonald's - this is definitely worth a shot.
