Non-Dairy Puppy Chow

Sometimes when I look at a recipe I can't tell if it will be as good as the original after I substitute non-dairy ingredients.  But maybe when the recipe calls for a basic mix of butter, chocolate chips, peanut butter and sugar - it's hard to go wrong.  In this case, the only substitutes were for a non-dairy margarine and non-dairy chocolate chips - the rest stayed true to the original recipe.  And if you've ever had the dessert/snack called Puppy Chow, you know that staying true to the original is important.  It's delicious and will make you very popular.
